I know you didn't want to include space, but I heard a Raven Space a while ago that should have scared the poop out of anyone who may have been experimenting during the show. Real creepy Edgar Allen Poe by Lesh. I'll have to check deadlists to see if that was a more than once occurence.

Not handy, and there was nothing on deadlists. I remeber only sending that cd of the show (3rd cd opener) to my brother because the rest of the show was nothing special. Where's Stratocaster when you need the steel trap brain of all Dead related info?

don't take this the wrong way

but when in doubt always try yahoo or google..

just type in "grateful dead raven space" and you'll be surprised what you will find -baltimore 4-19-82

but of course coming here and asking deadheads is better.....:)

Hey- this old dog learned a new trick. Used your suggestion and googled grateful dead barbed wire whipping party and Tada! entries galore. Thanks for the reminder. I forget how powerful the internet can be. That barbed wire is some whack sh*t.

Would never take it the wrong way. As part of the senior group, google still hasn't become second nature to me yet, and its amazing that typing in something as random as that will yield instant results. Thanks for the info.

Two astute readers have provided the date of 4/19/82. The show before it lists something as Phils' Earthquake Jam. Have to check that out as well. Thanks all. And yeah, its scary.

Had the Raven Space for many years---even upgraded the sound once. A fantastic Estimated in this show too. They come back for the peak out part of the middle jam in the outro jam---wired for sound and loaded for bear they were that night. Nice Jack Straw and TLEO opener too I think (all this is from memory).
